Your vacation home is waiting!

We have just the place for you.

If you’ve had about all the winter you can handle, why not initiate a little personal “climate change” for you and your family. You’ll find this is a great way to kick off the coming spring and summer with a little break from the cold, shivers, rain and snow. We love our snowbirds in Fort Myers, and there are always a lot of activities to get you involved. Of course, the beaches are our truly magnificent gift to the world, but the fun and relaxation doesn’t stop there.

Get Your Art On the Go

You’ll find a really unique approach to art appreciation during our regular Fort Myers Art Walk. On the first Friday (6 to 10 in the evening) and Saturday (12 to 4 in the afternoon) of each month works from the local art galleries get out and meet the public. These pieces from local and nationally known artists are carried around the River District, inviting everyone to appreciate the eclectic view.

It’s a rain or shine happening, and free trolley service is provided to the after party that is hosted by the shops around the core downtown area. You can even meet many of the artists when the works are returned to the galleries. However, it’s not just the art galleries that are actively involved – the many theaters, restaurants, bars, and museums and others schedule special activities and sales around this one-of-a-kind celebration of art.

Tours on Land and Water

While many of our visitors are fully entertained by simply enjoying our many fine beaches here in Fort Myers and Sanibel, there is ample opportunity to get out on the water for fishing or simply exploring the backwaters by kayak or paddle-board. A number of opportunities are offered to see the hundreds of birds, dolphin, manatee, stingrays and other members of our Florida ecosystem. Kayak and SUP tours offer a truly special time of exercise and exploring, providing many opportunities to take those pictures that you’ll treasure for years to come. Don’t worry if you’ve never “walked on water” with a paddleboard – you will get expert instructions during a special 90-minute class and tour.

If you want to stay on the dry ground, you have a number of alternatives, including several nature trails, and bus tours. Additionally, there is even a popular Pirate Ship outing. This boat ride is especially fun for kids and provides incredible sights of Fort Myers Beach and the surrounding waterways.

A gorgeous rental home is waiting for you here in Fort Myers to provide that home-away-from-home experience. If you’re just interested in relaxing and soaking up some rays, we provide the perfect setting to rest during the day. Then, you’re batteries are fully charged to go out and enjoy the many other cultural events that are constantly held in our area. Our area is known for attracting world-class traveling Broadway shows, musical groups, and many different well-known entertainers.

So, make a call, pack your bags, and come on down to start thawing out for a great summer.
